Colorado Springs is over the Rockies from My brother. But he being a gear head and not working if there is enough interest I can ask if he will go look at it for us.

There`s been a few regrettable personal experiences and lots of folks do like to remind me of it..... guess it`s so I don`t do it again.

I`m not sure if putting a newer frame is the way to go but this truck has had a lot of work done to it. I just phoned and the only way the seller will part with it is to trade.
I`ll maybe slip by this weekend to have a look tho I'm not anxious about dealing on it since I`d way sooner find someone do the rest of my 53 M100 with the 80 Mercury car front clip, 302.

You know, on one hand having the GM running gear and front clip sucks, but on the other hand its a bonus. There are a lot of GM enthusiasts out there and those parts should be easy to get rid of so you could do the proper justice on that truck. I should come buy one of your started '53-'56 projects and finish it Mo...

I`m curious how the flip hood was done so I still may have a look this weekend.
