For those tinkering with Torque, dabbling in Dash, and gawking over (Car) Gauge... DO NOT TRY NEW GAUGES ON A RUNNING VEHICLE!
You can get weird results when a gauge is called upon that has a bug in it, and I can't say "weird" won't hurt your rig. If you're going to do anything new, do it KOEO - that way you will only weird out a non-running engine. Adding an untested gauge that you think should work, while rolling down the highway, can stall you... or worse.
One might ask "Gee... what prompted Tug to post that?" A scare did, and I'll leave my underwear out of it.
They don't call it the "bleeding edge" for nothing. (Underwear? That's a bad place to bleed from).
Thanks for the heads up. Glad you made it OK to warn the group. This is part of that "convenience factor" discussion we had last week. I don't have enough quarters for the washing machine for that kind of laundry load.
