I'm sure i'd get ragged on over there. I tend to ramble and sometimes it takes me a long paragraph to address a simple matter. I also jump in and show pictures of MY stuff and how it relates to a thread. I honestly try to temper my enthusiasm, but to put it into words, (justify my actions)....I live in a fairly remote area, on an island with a 1 1/2 hour ferry ride, 12 miles from the closest town, and then 1/2 mile up a steep winding dirt road. I've been here 32 years and a total old ford truck nut for ten years before that. I have a good friend a couple miles away who is a chevy guy, and another friend who's into old volvos (seriously).....Finding the 'net and a forum like this where I have all these friends that live, eat, sleep old ford trucks, sometimes I feel like a kid who just can't wait his turn. It's been really fun for me. Thanks All for letting me ramble.

I love 28/29 A's mostly roadsters, coupes, closed cab pickups. I have wanted a model A roadster hot rod since I was a teenager. Unfortunately I am a gunner not a doer. This is a couple of examples of what I have dreamed of. I have a picture of a model A hotrod I missed out on when I was buying my truck over there a year or so ago, it was perfect, just like I have dreamed about for years. Can't find it at the moment.
I drew the first one some years ago, some thing to dream about. The second drawing I found somewhere, looks great.

The Ford Barn is the place you are looking for. Several of the guys have already mentioned it and it is as close to the FTE experience as you can get. As a matter of fact, posting pics and such is even easier. I've gotten spoiled. It's a good site. Got two Model A's myself. Both 29 Special Coupes. I'll have a 28 pickup as soon as I can find one I can afford.
Look forward to seeing pics of your A.

Nice drawing. The second one I thought was a photo. It it just plain screams 'hot rod'. Thanks for sharing. And get off the gunnery couch and start building that dang roadster! I'll leave you with a saying I have loved since I first heard it as a kid. ' The longest journey begins with a single step'.
