The Hamb is all about traditional, or 50's-60's style hotrods. Not modern street rods.
However, it would be worth your while to do some reading there, as the knowledge and info there is staggering.
Google just about anything hot rod related and a hamb topic will pop up.
hamb has it all if you want to be a darksider... you have some guys on there that think it's only one way and if you don't do it their way or no way! I want to follow this and see your new ride... Sorry to hear you may get rid of your f1, but I can understand... I'm "Moes49f1" over on hamb
Thanks again guys, Moe, I may not sell Whitey, actually my wife doesn't want me to. I guess I'll lurk around HAMB and see what I can learn before I jump in. As long as the moderator doesn't mind the pics of the A I'll be sharing the build with you guys for sure. I appreciate all the suggested sites from everyone. As usual
If you have not been on the HAMB before be sure to INTRODUCE yourself in the proper introduction area or you will have a few hundred very negative post saying what kind of a turkey you are for just jumping in-- nothing like FTE welcome will ever happen over there!

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. Too bad there is not FTE for Model a's!
here is my 29 Roadster, its an older restoration but still fun to play around with.
the po told me he thought it had been restored in the mid 80's but I found registrations from the mid to late 70's so I think it was done about 77 or so. when I was just diapers.
That's my Father in law squished in the rumble seat with my kids for a small local swiss days parade.
How long have you had they A?
I have had mine for going on 8 years in the spring.
There is a group out of Rockford IL that puts on a big show in Sharon Wis. The first weekend of June . They take over a small farm town and only model A's are aloud down town. There is about 400 cars there every year. I have been to it the last 7 years
Saw a flatbed truck full of old farm scrap getting on the ferry with me. He said "there's some old 4 cyl engines down in there. He told me one was in the shop and looked clean". I had him save it from the crusher and when I went to his place yesterday it was a model A long block, missing most externals, but really clean, maybe repainted years ago and not finished. On a rolling cart. He asked for 25 bucks. So it's in my truck bed.... I know of an AA that might be available. Somebody stop me......(Since we were already off topic).....
x2 on Fordbarn.com They have a forum area specific to Model A's, laid out almost identical to FTE. We found it as helpful as FTE when working on our '31.
Thanks for the response. Looks like we got another OT going. I think it's just amazing there are so many A's still around. .Chris 56, thanks for the video, A overload, great. Osubuki, thanks for the info.. I'll check it out. Picking it up tomorrow morning, charging up the camera. To be continued....
