High Idle Mod
Hello all, I am trying to do the high idle mod on my 2004 6.0 with an auto trans. I have located the wires and for kicks and giggles I put my meter on the power supply the white with blue stripe above the obd2 port and it is dead. Could it possibly be as simple as a fuse? and which fuse?
Thanks, Mike

Check fuse #29 too. I can't remember if that's from the pre-04 or post-05 wiring guide though.

Did you meter the other wire above fuse block too?

???? The light blue/white wire is right behind the OBD connector. It's part of the DLC circuit and tied into the cigarette lighter/OBD port.

LOL, brain fart here Josh!
Don't know why I was thinking the power supply was on the other wire.

Ok so it was fuse 29, got it replaced and wired in, but the idle switch does nothing it is properly grounded and with a test light checked made sure i had the wires properly on the switch (supply is hot when ignition is on) (load is controlled by the switch) (ground is well ground). I tried without the parking brake on and with the parking brake on and it doesn't do anything. I am fairly certain I am in the correct wire (orange white)
Thanks, Mike
