04 Steering Column Lock

04 Steering Column Lock
I'm swapping in a manual transmission and picked up a complete steering column from a salvage yard. I'm starting the install and noticed a broken bracket at the base of the column where with my auto column it had a small solenoid that I assume that locked out the gear selector until the brake was depressed. Obviously there is no gear lock for a manual transmission but I don't see any column lock at all.
