When you got to go you got to go, and since I end up out in the boonies alot with no power, and no cell signal, I need to know if my batteries are weak before I get there. That way I can get new ones before I am walking in -40.

Yea, but when its that cold even plugged in the tranny is still -40 so you still have to let everything warm up anyway.

Murphy still says they'll die when you are out in the boonies at -40. Oh wait, we are not talking about my luck.

FYI Mine starts reliably at minus 40 Centigrade

Glad yours does and I hope if I am ever in -40F mine does too.

-40C = -40F... The only temp where they both are the same...
