I have been able to track down a few ignition switches this past year but cannot seem to figure out how to remove them. I would appreciate if someone with more knowledge than me can give me a step by step on how to remove one. Thanks
Do you find switches that have keys in them? Do you have a master key for the switches? (met a guy who had a key that worked on all the switches 61-69 or so he said. It did work on a 65 66 68 that I saw)
If you have the key, you'll also need a paper clip. Turn key to ACC push pin with paper clip turn key a little counter clockwise and pull out.
Assembly is reverse.
Sometimes you have to wiggle the key a little but it will come out.
