All very simple and straight forward...however, have a large opening in your drain bucket as when you pull the drain plug it will flow rapidly

Here's a video Epic did on changing the oil. The only difference will be yours will have the metal pan/oil plug.

The key item is to use a fully opened drain pan and not one of the enclosed pans with the little drain hole.

Here's another video using the wrong drain pan.

Also be prepared when you remove the oil filter. Oil will flow out around it and it's heavy and slippery. Use two hands when you remove it.

If you have 4x4, use a 5gal bucket, drain the oil when it's around 80° (my preference). Then, slide the bucket under the oil filter, unscrew halfway and let it drain for a few mins, then unscrew all the way. It is very slick, takes good effort or two hands to control it. If you wear rubber gloves you can do it without any spilling or drips, not even wash ur hands.

The bucket is my preference. It's nearly full and it easily allows me to pour the used oil back into the gallon bottles so I can take it to recycle place.

Filling I use a big funnel that sticks in the tube and I can keep two hands on the gallon bottle. I never pre fill the oil filter. I always use exactly 13 qts. Very easy 20 minute deal.

Use a hole punch in the filter before youbremove it. It will drain the filter before you unscrew it.
