Last spring I bought a 2013 F350 Diesel, two weeks into ownership the TPMS system throws errors. So back and forth with the dealer over the summer because the temp effects the reading... eventually I tell the dealer that I will try aftermarket wheels and sensors. Did the change and the new sensors will not learn either.
the dealer then tells me I have to remove all of my non-factory equipment before they can troubleshoot and that I have voided my warranty... lol I have a headlight upgrade, horn upgrade, and aftermarket wheels.
The dealer sucks so I'm going to do 2 things
1) Call Mike at Ford customer service, he helped me pay for a premature engine failure on my last Ford
2) Buy a tuner and shut of TMPS!!!!!
I would like a tuner that can monitor all the systems sensors and make minor fueling adjustments and of course shut off the bit for TMPS.
i put aftermarket wheel/tires on my truck and ran it for months with the TPMS sensor on until i put my minimax on. minimax will do all of what you are looking for.
I have had problems with my TPMS also in the warmer months. Always shows a low tire but all are up to spec on pressure gauge. Have taken to 3 different dealers and all told me they could not find a problem. No problems whatsoever this winter but this summer I can almost guarantee the problem will reappear. I'm deleted now with quite a bit of extended warranty left so I won't push the tire issue, but it is aggravating. And, for those wondering, I do still expect my warranty to be honored if I return to stock and delete did not contribute to problem. I may be living in Lala land but we'll see, or not.
You can get a whole wide-band fuel management system for other vehicles for that price
I'm going to explore cheaper solutions that use my phone... I can already see all the PID live on my phone over bluetooth... all I need to do is find one that allows me to change settings
MSRP according to the mini max website is $849 and you cant even change anything fun like valve timing, fuel ratio, etc... just stupid stuff like shift adjustments, TPMS, and speedo adjustment
Since when? He didn't mention anything about delete/custom tuning, which would mean he just needs a simple street tuner, that will turn the tpms off, which last I looked is nowhere near 1600, delete capable tuner, yes...

I might be able to do this with a $5 app that I have for my phone -I will research and report back
I would be interested to know what you find out. I use a phone app to monitor, but I don't think it allows you to change programming. Please report back.

Spe sold me one for like 1695 and I got no unlock code. Only their custom times which they said were 250. If you can buy one for 800 I got seriously ****ed!

Stop complaining. You did not get screwed, you got what you wanted. A tuner that deletes your emission equipment on your vehicle. The $800 version will not do that at all, it will only allow you to use the canned tunes, TPMS, and other features which don't include DPF Delete. If you didn't get an unlock code take that up with them, I'm sure they will be more then happy to get your situation fixed.

It sound like you got the race tuner, which that is about right on the price, the street tuner is 850 but still needs a tune to be downloaded in order to delete.
