Rust control using Fluid Film

Anyone using this for rust control / undercoating?

Fluid FilmŽ | Corrosion Preventative, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor

Is there a better choice for controlling rust.

Thanks

I've never used it, but I heard it works good. I read somewhere of people using their used motor oil....and somehow sprayed it. I'm sure any kind of petroleum would work. There's also a product called Ospho that I know works, but it's dangerous to use. It's been around for years and available at most hardware stores. It works totally different than a petroleum product.

Ospho works great. I use it at work on already started rust spots. When you apply it, the rust hardens and turns black. It actually kills the rust. Just use a mask when applying.

Yup, Ospho kils the rust....petroleum just lubricates it!

It's phosphoric acid. Works great on rust. Be sure to rinse everything off real, real well
after you're done spraying. If not you might end up with permanent shoe prints in your carpet.

Thanks guys, I'm sold. I think I will pick up a batch.

I will be applying it all under the truck, including the existing rusted spots.
