3.5mm aux input

Maybe I missed it or cant find it. But my 2007 had a 3.5 mm aux input. does my 2013 not have one? I run my iPod classic which is 160 gb to play music. I like to use a standard 3.5mm cable from the ipod to the aux. Does the 2013 not have a port. I see it has rca inputs and 2 usb. I guess no 3.5mm input?

Skip the 3.5mm mini plug and plug it into the USB.
Do you have the 8" screen with Sync? If so, then the USB connected iPod will interface nicely and you'll have full voice commands of the iPod etc.

Yes I have the big screen with sync. I guess the iPod plug to USB plug? Does it control everything from the radio if I go that way?

Yep, take the cord from your computer, or charger, and plug the iPod into the USB port (either one of the two). You'll then select "USB" from the listing on the entertainment screen. It'll allow you to browse your playlists, etc via the touchscreen, or your can use the voice prompts to find music.

EDIT:
There's another way to load your music too. My iPod doesn't like temps below 40* so I no longer leave it in the truck. Instead I loaded my most frequently listened to items onto a memory stick (no batteries to get cold) and just leave it plugged in. If you drag and drop items directly from iTunes into the memory stick then Sync will play your items just as if they were on the iPod. You can still browse playlists, shuffle, etc.

Hi pepito113,

The MyFord Touch platform does not include an AUX port, but your iPod is able to interface via USB quite well, as MCDavis suggested. While using the USB media channel, you are also able to request your music via voice commands by song title, genre, artist, etc. You can even skip through your current playlist via radio and steering wheel controls! Here's a supplemental support article that explains the media voice-command capabilities more in-depth: Explore Entertainment By Voice Commands | MyFord Touch | Ford.com

This is an oldie... You might have it in 2008, and it should say it somewhere on the dash. This might help:
