Well folks I thought I'd share this. Here recently I've become an Amazon.com fiend. Its amazing what all they have and with Prime it's all 2 days away. I go through a lot of oil here at the farm on my vehicles and equipment and I run T6 in everything. I've found that Amazon will ship this to the door for the same price or maybe a little less than I can go to town and buy it for. And beings its 20 miles to Walmart I've started ordering 8-10 gallons a month and shipping it to the house. I can't count how many trips to town I've made just to get oil. I get all my filters from either Fleetfilter or dieselfilter online. But anyways not saying it's the only way to go but it's working pretty good for me. $6-8 bucks in fuel savings per oil change if you count my fuel use to go to town and back. On Amazon the oil is $21.36 if you have a prime account it's free 2 day shipping.
Keep an eye out on prices. My last oil change I got it for $19.99 w prime and within a week changed to $26. Oh and if price changes within 7 days of receiving anything off amazon they will credit you amount back!
I completely agree with you about ordering stuff online usually it requires 1 trip to Wally and they never have enough then drive to oreillys or some auto store and make them price match Wally. Its pretty easy to order 4 gallons and it's at you doorstep in 2 days. Too bad AZ started charging sales tax because that used to be another huge plus.
Is the American market Rotella processed at a different location than the Canadian market Rotella? Same bottle, same label (maybe except metric quantities) but processed in a different plant?
I noticed that was the case with the Mobil brand product that I get, which is IOL (Imperial Oil) vs. XOM (Exxon). Not just automotive lubricants but their other industrial petroleum products as well.
When oreilly has it on sale it's usually $16-18 a gal, I order two cases of it and pick it up when I go by. I also order filters by the case. In my garage now I have 8 filters and 12 gallons ready to go. I also have two sets of fuel filters.
I know amazon is great but I like my system. I did use amazon for the jet ski oil change kit.
