Can you offer any help with the specification of correct steering tube for a 65 F100 4x2 2 wheel drive with manual shift on column. I find in the manual several code's but no specific length for a C5TZ 3514 G tube. I'm looking for the correct length as the one I now have has the steering wheel about three inches in my mid section with the seat against the fuel tank.
Have not been active lately! I can claim being busy but that may not be completely accurate.

1965/66 F100/250 2WD with M/S // 1967/68 F100/250 2WD & F350 with M/S.
3524 is listed under 3A526 in the truck parts catalog.

PS Do know if the column I now have could be effectively shortened to that length? Assuming of course that would fall into your knowledge spectrum.
