I was on Ebay and I came across an Oil Filter bypass unit, it claims to really improve the maintenance on the 6 liter as far as oil changes, just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with them?

Post up a link.
It's not going to make your oil change intervals longer though. It's not the filter that's the problem in a 6.0, it's the oil shearing that the engine does.

Times 2 on Tim's reply. In the long run the oil changes would probably also be cheaper.
The Nuc system is pretty good and by the time you buy all the parts you are getting close to the price of that. it uses a Amsoil filter that goes down to 1 micron you can also by them with or without the coolant filter. have seen them down as low as $289.00
I am not recommending running longer oil change intervals but cleaner oil is still a good thing.
so all in all not really the best way to spend money on this 6 liter.
I wouldn't say that. It's not essential, but it's a great addition. Like the others say, the 6.0 shears oil system like nothing else. Oil quality as in all engines is especially crucial to the 6.0 due to our injection system. FWIW I built my own Amsoil bypass setup for a little over $200, so it can be done cheaper.
