Clunk under truck

Clunk under truck
When I am coming to a stop in my E99 I hear a loud clunk under the truck. It can be felt by both myself and the passenger and it happens every time I slow down to a stop. Would this likely be U-joints? If so how to I check them to be sure? If not what else should I check?

You should/might be able to get under there and look to see if a u-joint is cracked. When mine went out I noticed it the most whenever I put the truck in reverse and backed up a little. Sounded like someone was under there with a hammer banging on the driveshaft.

Front End Clunk
In my case had clunk happening when breaking at slow speed. Seemed to be from front end. Was ball joints. Now no more clunk. If you do a search you can find out how to check them.

Does it feel like a bowling ball is rolling around in the bed and is hitting the back of the cab right before you are completely stopped? If so,
1) Check the bed for rogue bowling *****, then
2) Grease the splines on your rear drive shaft.
