Oh yeah---but looking first for reruns of the Victoria's Secret runway show! I'm pumped to watch the Daytona 500 on the wider screen format too. Not sure who I'll root for in the game though---would love to Peyton win another, would love seeing Richard Sherman's reaction this time!
I've already bought a new LG Blu-Ray/DVD player, $80 out the door with a good replacement plan.
Ahhh you're in Cleveland---is that even really part of Ohio? Thought we'd sold that off to Canada?
Well that rain delay's upside it is now the longest recorded delay in ANY sporting event----none longer!
I've been watching my big screen, adding the very affordable Blu-Ray player and new speakers---getting there I think. My news and weather girls have never looked more lovely, can zoom in on them at all the best times. I wonder if they're aware I watch with evil intent?
I've also purchased and have been running a computer TV tuner card from Haupaugge. Soon I'll have built a stand alone computer, never to be online, the sole reason to record over-the-air broadcasts on a solid state hard drive. Since I'm now using three tunerless VCR's & digital TV tuners one recording and playback device will be light years ahead of my current nightmare set up.
The Daytona 500 was a good race so the rain delay even as much a PITA as it was might have contributed ever so slightly to that. Remembering the times I've actually attended it I don't know how I'd have dealt with it---assuming there was still plenty of beer to be bought I might have been okay!

i dont think Canada is that dumb.....glad your moving along with everything....last few years having few buddies gone to races ...said NASCAR was the only sporting event you were allowed to bring in your own beer
Was alive and kicking, in fact had started learning guitar just a few years before that clip SlimBo. I wasn't a big fan of Steve Allen anyway but since he was on "too late" at night I'd never have seen it anyway.
Frank was more or less a serious composer as he demonstrated later in his career, after he'd achieved his icon status for being "weird". It was too easy to dismiss him due that being weird thing but looking a bit closer he was pretty insightful too.
I'll have to check around for that obscure movie he mentions in the clip---I'll bet its a hoot!
