My truck - 2013 F150XLT, EcoBoost, Sync - Not sure what else you would need to know to respond. Here's the dilemma:
I'm old and getting deaf. Music and sound has always been an important part of my life. But, I am finding the sound system (perhaps speakers) in this truck sound very muffled - not a lot of clarity to me. Have any of you upgraded your speakers in your truck?
I now have 20k miles on this truck. I love it more than any car I've ever owned and I have owned some pretty expensive rides. But if I could get the sound to be equal to the Bentley Continental GT, I would be absolutely beyond thrilled with this truck.
I just put in a Kenwood touch screen, with a small Alpine amp, and it sounds much better. Had the amp from a previous truck, and have replacement speakers coming from Crutchfield as I type. I know exactly what you mean, I love mine so far, but as soon as I lit up the radio I knew it was on borrowed time.
Crutchfield has a buy one get half off the 2nd pair of speakers going now through March if interested. Not an employee there, but have had great customer service with them.
