Getting tired of dodging man hole covers and minor road imperfections. I wish my '97 f-250 7.3L drove as comfortably as the 2014 F-150 that I test drove at the dealers last week.
Can you guys who have the same truck as I do recommend a better shock than standard issue.
Thanks,
tOM
Mine has all new KYB's on it, and they seem to be ok (were on it when I bought the truck)
I don't blame the shocks so much as I do the leaf springs up front... I have to slow down crossing a set of railway tracks near our place... Otherwise I nearly chip a tooth... I used to be able to fly over them in my ranger no probs... and the wifes car goes over them like there is nothing there...
Just the nature of the beast...
They ride like real trucks should.
And for the record, mine drives nicer than the '08 ranger I had. I can fly down the highway at 75MPH with one finger on the steering wheel. Couldn't do that in the Ranger at all
