I have mine to the right of the steering wheel in the dash. I guess it may stick out but I like it regardless.

I've always had it down to the left of the steering column at the bottom. I also like your location Todd.

Mine is below the cebter of the steering column. Yes I did have to drill a hole but it's not noticeable unless you're looking at everything closely

Mounted mine on the left front driver's seat frame facing the door. The cable was just long enough with a little slack. Out of sight, easy to reach and I have a no start position in the chip / switch. I always travel for work and stay nights in motels / hotels so my thought was I would have lesser chance of a theft.

Thanks Todd for posting your pic I copied you, they don't give you much cord with the chip so your options are limited. I like it here but it hurt me to drill a hole in my dash. Thanks everyone for posting pic this really help me decide where to mount the switch.

I put mine inside the gauge cluster on the left side of the speedo. It's out of the way, easy to reach and not really noticeable.
