Power Steering Choice
Greetings all.
Floyd (my '55) is stock except for an obvious paint refresh and seat covers.
I plan to keep him and pass him as well as my 73 Bronco onto grandsons. I will only drive him on non-rainy days (limited in the Northwest) and will do no freeway/highway speed driving.
With the above points in mind, I have a Toyota steering box and also have the CPP Power Assist Unit. So, which one will make Floyd the easiest too steer smoothly and dependably? Not as important, which is the easiest to install? I will be pulling his engine to clean up the engine bay and install ramhorn exhausts to access for the Toyota unit is not restricted.
I will install the unit that you guys give a consensus nod to and sell the other.
Which one would you guys choose for any reason?
Update that I hope doesn't violate thread rules, I do not yet have the starter problem fixed if you have been following that thread.
