Let me know if you want others.... I realize some of these don't depict exactly what I was trying to get (exact measurements) but it's hard to kneel on the floor, hold the ruler in one hand and focus the camera with the other.

Thanks a bunch, Chris. That helps.

Edit: I could have done the math. But I do appreciate the extra measurements. That gives me what I need.

If you can find a graphic designer, perhaps someone still in design school using a draw program like Adobe Illustrator you might get good results as they have access to all kinds of fonts.

Ok, thanks.

All - I'm looking for a good picture, or pictures, of the borderless lettering on the 84-86 HO air cleaners. I sent Bruno a text but I'm not sure he has one of those cleaners. So, if you do, please help. The font may be the same as on Chris' air cleaner, but I want to confirm that.

Chris, I'd Rep you if I could.

Your 5 looks to be 19mm high (about 3/4")
That would be 54pt.

I'm not sure how the letters on a later ('84?) air cleaner appear without a border.
Maybe Gary has a response from Bruno?

Certainly anyone in the trade can scale the type to fit whatever space.
It's called 'set to fit'

Gary, I don't know if you have resolved all of this yet, but we may know a person who has graphic design background and skills.

No, it hasn't been resolved. May know? Or do know someone that may have?

Lol! May, or may not, have been reminded of "punctuation kills". Ok, I'll ask when we get back.

Hey, you've finished the air cleaner assembly yet?
Like to see the aircleaner mounted in place.

(Even if the lettering hasn't been applied yet.)

Haven't finished it yet as the snorkels have to fit between several things on the engine. So, it'll be one of the last things that get done. Sorry.

Don't know if it will help you but I did "8.5 Liter 4V H.O." lettering on an '85 F150 5.8L aluminum air cleaner cover and did dual cold air snorkels for my 521/8.5L stroker in a '78 Continental Coupe.

If you're interested, send me an email address and I'll send you some pictures. Started to post pics here but they're too big.
