Quaker State ultimate durability in my 5.4 only 5 to 6,000 oci for 71,000 . Nice and clean looking in the engine still.

MC in my 6.2L, change it every 5k miles. Oil is the least of my worries....I'm sure the engine will outlast the tranny or rear end.

I run motorcraft 5w20 in my truck. Either the synthetic blend or the full synthetic. Changed at 5-6K intervals. ( I do it bit early since I work in public safety)

how you liking your 6.2. have you pulled anything yet ?

Very happy with it. Pulled 7000lbs (enclosed tandem) over 5000 miles (TX to San Jose, CA and back then to points around TX). Pulled like a champ.

Got 11 mpg pulling @ 70 mph. I locked out 6th and had a ball. I did pull for the first few hundred miles in 6th but the mileage was a bit less at 10.5 mpg.

That's the motor I'd get if I were buying a new truck. Sad that they're not keeping it around
