ISSPRO Gauge Garage Sale

A good many of you here are also at Oilburners and have already seen this, but for the ones that haven't ISSPRO is clearing out old stock and there's some pretty good prices here. I have a couple of the boost gauges coming my way, they are $6.50 each! Shipping was cheap too.

For those of us that are running stock-ish boost numbers, a 15psi gauge is a good find, we'll actually be able to notice movement!

Look carefully at what you're interested in though, some of the gauges are 24 volt, the Bulldog Pryo they have is a nice one, but it doesn't come with a thermocouple, stuff like that to look for.

Can the thermocouples and proper senders be purchased individually? Id like to have that EGT, boost gauge, and an oil temp gauge

EDIT: Durrrrr, answered my own question, they do list the parts available individually

I ordered 2 boost and 2 oil temp. The gal that helped me hooked me up with the sending units, they were about $35 bucks a piece. SWtill a pretty good deal for some nice gauges. Van

Vanet what oil temp sender did you get? Where do you tap that in at? Apparently the hypermax kits have ports for the boost and pyro senders, but I don't know what size it is (if there are different sizes?)

The gal told me the number, but I dont remember what it was. She said she talked to there tec guy and he said it would only work with there sending unit, otherwise I would have used a different one. When they get here I can post what they are.

Thank you sir, if its the only one that works sounds like its the one I'm gonna need.

I just called as well, lady didn't know what thermocouple would fit and the tech I spoke with said I was best to call hypermax to find what thermocouple fits the hole. Called hypermax and their tech is out to lunch, he's supposed to call back soon.

I need some gauges, been putting that off too long lol

Update:
Apparently they are all 1/8" thermocouples. The hypermax uses a 1/4" plug according to the technician I spoke with (nice people over there btw) so it just needs a 1/4" adapter, and the boost port is 1/8th"

So the port size would be easy to accommodate, but what thermocouple would be used with that gauge? Not knowing anything about pyros, I assume that every gauge isn't wired the same and uses the same sensor/thermocouple.

They matched a thermocouple to the gauge that I wanted. I know some are "standard" or "high temperature", with the high temp ones reading up to 2000 deg F, the one they got me was an adjustable depth with the correct range according to them (which I trust since they make their stuff)
