I am here to see some Excursion **** and this is what I get?
The Excursion was parked high and dry. With those building seas, I did not want to drive the Ex on to the beach and end up with a swamped Ex I will see about some more Ex **** in the future...
BTW, the rough sea pic was taken about a mile down the beach from the pic in my signature.
So, the stone guards arrived yesterday, and me being me, I could not wait to get them on. So I braved a small break in the ongoing rough weather here in a sprint to get them done. Well that break did not last long, so only one side got completed before the next squall line hit.
Here are the pics from the finished side. Note, I have not even tried the front fenders yet. Maybe in the next weather break...
I really lucked out, the paint was PERFECT under the cladding

So I just went out and finished up between squalls, so now the back is done!
I will tackle the fronts when the weather settles down sometime next week.
Here are pics from the other side...
I hope these help in making up your mind about keeping or removing the armor.
BTW, getting all of the tape off is a PAIN IN THE A$$! Also, whoever invented those screw on, plastic tabs should be shot They are almost as bad as the tape
