Replacing dash. Is it possible?

Just an idea I had, is it possible to remove the dash and replace it? Obviously it's "possible", but is it doable without too much hassle?

Just curious, cuz I've got a nice dash in my parts truck and mine is all hacked up.

It is possible I've actually seen a guy replace one at his house came out nice. You need to remove the windshield to get to all the spot welds in the channel. Drill them out and remove the brackets and everything attached under the dash. Same process for the other dash when swapping then line up the new dash clamp it to the cab and plug weld them back together. Best tool to Invest in is a nice spot weld cutter

Ok that's way more work than it's worth to me. I thought maybe it just bolted in like the newer units.
