99 7.3 died
I was running down the road it died we have tried the fuel pump , came shaft sensor ,idm, fuel filter . it has white smoke but will not start have it with a mechanic but still looking for ideas . batt are new and at the time it was only in the mid 70's when it died .

Not saying this is your problem, but the first thing I check is the nut on the IPR. Also you may want to try to unplug connector to ICP inspect for oil and try to crank.

Welcome to FTE! Mid 70's, you must be way south from me! -5 this morning when I got up. And a lot colder for those up north!
Have you checked the oil? Low oil will cause them to shut down.
When you turn the key on, do you get a WTS light?
