Throwing codes - underboost
Just got this truck and new to Fords so I'm not overly familiar with them or diesels but am enjoying learning.. I've been doing a lot of reading on what could potentially be throwing this code (i.e. stuck erg valve, erg system needs to be cleaned, or a dirty/bad turbo).. So when I get on it on the highway, it'll go into limp mode (orange wrench on dash) around 70mph.. It's shifting anywhere between 3500-3800rpm and the turbo is spooling up to 28-29psi of boost so I don't think it's the turbo.. I'm also only get 11mpg mixed with it, not sure if this is typical for a 6.0.. Also has no cat.. What do you think the culprit most likely is and what the best/cheapest fix? I bought this truck to do a quick flip with, I do this several times a year but don't like passing issues onto new owners..
