No reverse
Yesterday I replaced my egr valve (p0405)and I took it out for a run and it seemed to be running better. Today I started and went to back up ,no rpms,nothing when I stepped on the pedal .I was not sure if it was a related problem but I have a droan kind of noise when travelling it doesn't seem to be the turbo and no noise in park....Stumped.

Wait so when you hit the pedal nothing happened? No revs, no movement, no gorilla farting noises from anywhere? If so I bet your pedal is going out or had a momentary hiccup. Happned to me once at a red light. Hit the go pedal and nothing happened. Stopped and restarted and away I went. That was 2 years ago....still have the same pedal and no codes were thrown. It was odd as heck!
