backup camera

I bought a 2011 F250 with nav and backup camera. the backup camera only shows in the rear view mirror and NOT in the nav screen. Anyone know how to program it to show in the nav screen also?

I didn't know that you could get nav and not have it on that screen. Even the basic my Ford touch had it in the radio?? Weird

I saw both screens on my buddy's f250 otherwise I wouldn't have know it's supposed to show on both

I would run thru all the setup menus in the nav/radio. mabey there is a setting you can switch.

Thanks Leon, I have gone through all the menus and nothing. I even unplugged the rear view mirror to see if that would reset something but it didn't help.

both screens ARE NOT supposed to show at the same time.

Look up a product called the "Lockpick" for your Nav Radio. It unlocks a lot of features for your radio...including the ability to show camera input in the Nav unit. Of course, you'll have to "Y" the rearview mirror feed and route that to the NAV unit itself

Sounds like someone upgraded your radio to a Nav radio?

I had a 2011 F350 XLT with backup cam in mirror. I added a nav radio. I got the name of someone and they made me a cable to plug into the plug in the passenger kick panel and into the back of the nav radio. I had the image in both the mirror and radio.

It cost me like 25 to get the cable and shipped to me. Below is the connector in the passenger kick panel and the wire numbers. See if they are empty on one half of the connector. If so, you can get a cable made to plug into the center connector of the nav radio.
