Ah, fair enough, I'm up north of Newcastle. I like the wheels on your truck, I'm a big fan of period alloys on these. Most of your truck looks more solid then mine was when I bought it, but it can be hard to tell from photos.

Yes they are the Aussie 2v closed chamber heads. Need some? I have a pair taking up space in the garage.

Thanks man. No idea really all my experience has been in other areas so this will be a learning curve for me.

Yeah nice. I will sell/get rid them soon as I find a pair I like and upgrade. It seems to have more surface rust then anything else but never know.

Yes its RHD as I hail from that little country called Australia

Its the first 4x4 I have owned having previously owned: Bagged 89 Hilux, R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-T and currently a 'Stance' 2008 Lexus IS 250.

Now have plenty of ideas for her but come on who doesn't! Just a matter of time and money. Been doing as much research on here as I can but still have a few questions which I will post in another thread shortly

Firstly I want to turn it into a serious 4x4 to travel around Australia in.

Info I know off so far.

302 V8
Think its a NP205 transfer case
Unsure on my diffs or the ratio (Think 4.11 gears).
33/12.5/R15
No power steering

She needs a few things done to be considered Legal to drive over here. Being old few things are shot: shocks, muffler, clutch on the way out, considerable rust etc.
Looking at/needs 4'' Lift, Zf5 conversion, Full exhaust inc Headers, Drum to disc conversion. New rims with 35's. Changing to 4.56 or 4.88 gearing. New radiator with dual fans, new alternator, oh and window wiper system fitted!

Thats all thats in the works for now.

Nathaniel
