35" tires

New to this forum. Trying to help my son on a budget. Wanting to install 315/75-16 tires with wheels on 02 Super Crew 4x4. Can we do it by adjusting torsion bars for leveling or will we need a lift?

I tightened my torsion bars to level my truck and I have 35x12.50xR17 tires on mine. I have a 98 f150 supercab 4x4. Keep in mind you will need an alignment afterwards.

Thanks. I'm seeing yes from several people but a couple of web sites that sell lifts recommend up to 6". Think I will try the torsion bar and see.

Better off getting a 4" or 6" suspension lift. Or for budget purposes do a 3" body lift, thatll clear 35s for you no problem. Never crank up your torsion because it puts to much load on your lower ball joint which is the load carrier on this suspension. It will also kill your cv axles.
