Will This Tire Fit??
Ok,I think I may have a problem..I have a stock 4x4 2002 F150 Sport truck,single cab,5 speed...I am going to put nitto tires on it,size 285/55r20 and I am thinking I am going to run into a problem with them rubbing on the front tires without lifting this truck or doing something..I cannot put a leveling kit on it because they said they do not make them for this model due to having torsion bars on the front..I understand my only options are a body lift..anyone know if they make a 3 inch suspension lift or will I have problems fitting these tires on the front as it sits now? Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

i'm pretty sure all 4x4 f-150's in these years have torsion bars in the front, and they do make torsion bar keys that lift/ level your truck 2-3" in the front. just go on ebay and look up f-150 lift kits and you should find a whole bunch of options. you can sometimes even get them w/ add-a-leafs for the rear.

Thanks,I heard about the torsion bar thing to crank them up..but I hear it makes the truck ride and handle like crap..plus i hear you have to get a re-alignment if you do that..which is no big deal to me,I just dunno anything about this stuff.. I'll check that link and see what it has,just looking for options without having to lift it,hoping I guess that they will fit..thanks again
