Hi All!
The passenger side power window isn't working and I don't know why. It does nothing. No sound, no moving. Thought maybe it was the motor inside the door but we can't figure out how to remove the door panel Could anyone possibly tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? I checked the fuse and it is intact. Thanks in advance!
I would suspect the switch or the wiring where it goes from the door jamb to the door before going after the motor. If there is a cylindrical connector in the door hinge area I hear that the wires break in there sometimes.
I have the same problem: The pasenger side power window broke down a year ago, and now the driver side is acting up. Gather from what I find on the Internet, I think it's the problem of the bearing/window lifter/plastic gear, rather than the motor itself. I would like to trying cleaning/lubracating the parts b4 I bring the car to a mechanic and spend hundreds. But first I need to figure out how to remove the door panel. Can anyone tell me how to do so step-by-step? I don't know much about car & parts, a more descriptive instruction is very much appreciated
