Been noticing it more recently. After shutting truck down I would say 15-30 seconds after some type of pump or solenoid starts running and does so for another 30 seconds or so ( from the frontnofmthentruck). Any ideas what this might be? Also have noticed it just once after starting I was walking around the front of the truck and heard this buzzing sound once again. Thanks for help

Reason: More information
I think its pretty awesome that it still continues to take care of itself after I shut it down. I had the same concern initially, but these guys put my mind at ease.
Every now and then, hours later, with no rhyme or reason, there is a little beep... about a second in duration, from under the hood, repeating every minute or so for a while. Could never figure that one out. Sometimes the tick marks on the speedometer and the needle light up with the beep, sometimes not. Always figured it was contacting mothership.

I had that beep (or "meep") for a long time and would continue hours after shutdown.
I have not noticed it for a year or so though.
I think one of the PCM or TCM updates (which possibly updated the BCM) resolved that issue.
