Pre pump? It makes a noise!!!!!

Help!!! I've been hearing my pump under driver side make a noise at start up. I don't recall ever making noise.. Is there a strainer or filter that needs cleaning/replacing. Please help...

It should make some sound, does it sound like it is grinding or is it just a normal running sound? There are pre-pump filters but they are in the tank and it will need to be dropped to clean them out. That is why most do the Hutch Mod.
