TPS fun
TPS failed - truck will start easy & drive fine for a few miles & then whammo - throttle kicks to 2600 rpm & stays there.
If I turn it off - the truck will not restart until after the computer resets.
The code is TPS.
Since I just had this engine installed & he pulled the throttle body off the old engine I was hoping he installed the TPS upside down (you can do that...I've proven it)
So I need to run to the parts store first thing in the morning - swap out the TPS & meet someone to see if we want to work a trade.
oh the fun of it.
