Sway bars

83' custom, 4.9L/4sp OD
How difficult would it be to put sway bars on this Bronco?

It wont be difficult at all,if you can get the bars and end links for that year. All the bolt up holes are in the frame from the factory. Its really a simple bolt on deal.

Did early 80's Broncos come with sway bars?

Nearly all broncos were available with sway bars. I am not sure about interchanging between 90s and 80s. But there is a wonderful invention out there called "The Internet" where with just a little bit of effort you can find out almost anything.

My suggestion would be find the bars/endlinks in a junk yard and fit them with new bushings. Could probably do this for under $200
