hey blade and FAL-308 - as FAL308 said earlier, ... i chose CANSF, and readings are still more... EOT says -36.0, FVP says -213, ECT says 2.27, etc.... All readings change/fluctuate as im driving... something cant be right lol

 

My SG2 user manual says it's a " Version 6.0" but the version screen says it's a 4.06
is that what you have??

from home screen, push the lower right function button ( next to more ) twice. Next, use the upper left and right function buttons to cycle through the available options until you reach the screen titled. " Version "
this screen should read " Version 4.05 or 4.06

Then we'll know if we got the same units.

 

Troubleshooting section had next to nothing for us.

Where did you purchase your SG2? I hope the answer is Auto Zone incase we decide you need to return it for a different unit. If so make sure you have your receipt handy, but lets not go there yet.

 

Yes autozone for $139..i got a little discount ..

 

When I got mine from Auto Zone it worked good for about a week. Then I started getting a message " Can not Communicate with vehicle". I called Linear Logic's customer service department, and two days later there was a replacement unit in my mail box. Hooked up that unit up and got same result. I found out L L received a batch of " Bad Cords/Plugs" from their supplier, but thy only sent me the unit and not a new cord/plug. So I took the Unit back to Auto Zone and they replaced it ( no problem ). Forgot to mention. L L did not require a receipt for replacement. My unit works good now with no more prproblems
I don't think you have the same problem. that I experienced, I just wanted to assure. you that we can work through thisand you have no worries.

 

Remind me, are you on the East Coast where the temperature is minus " Don't go out the door or I'll frickin KILL you"? If so theres a way to supply power to the SG2 with a 9v battery and you can program it from the comfort of you easy chair. I'll see if I can locate that info. If you like or you can Tuff it out
