my new 13 superduty has a rattle from time to time I found out it was coming from the seat belt latch that when fully retracted it was bouncing off the plastic side panels after some one sat in the back seat and did not tuck it away just right. Its something to look at.

This is a little bit out there but a possibility. My neighbor bought a 2013 and had a weird rattle which we both swore was under the driver's dash somewhere. After a couple of hours of zip-tieing wires and taping everything in sight, we finally looked under the hood. His rattle was a missing rubber grommet that attached the intercooler underneath the driver side battery box. Someone at the factory just simply forgot to install the grommet and the metal on metal rattle at a certain rpm was just enough to drive you crazy.

I have an intermittent rattle that seems to come from behind me when driving, either the B-pillar or something in the rear door. At some point I'll go hunting for it, may be an unstowed seat belt like mentioned earlier.

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. My rattle is coming from the back seat area and sound like it's around the door on the passenger side. Not only does the noise bother me, but it bothers me too every time i think of the amount of money i spent on this ride and it has silly little irritating issues like this. I'm glad to see it's coming up in the forums but i've been dealing with it for over a year now and wasn't for sure if it's something i could ever have taken back to the dealer. Mine is a 2012 F250 Lariat...

Tagging along. I too have the mystery rattle coming from the passenger side B pillar or front passenger side window. The description of a strap slapping or a wiring harness hitting the inside of the door is what mine is doing.

I'm actually happy that my only complaint is about an irritating rattle. There are worse problems to have. Overall, this is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned, with regards to initial quality and features.
