It is cold.
Hello all and good afternoon.
It is bloody cold here in Bonville and will be 0 tomorrow morning and not much warmer through the day. However, the forecast is for partly sunny for 5 days concurrent so MAYBE I can work on the truck outside.
Dang, I am so far behind on my modifications but at least I am not spending much money.
I have to take off the exhaust manifolds to install some headers and the bolts will probably fall off when I touch them! Ha Ha
I will be ecstatic if I have my exhaust system by mid January....LOL.
How is the weather where you are?

Cold, and icy. You're around the middle of the state, correct? We got a few inches the last couple days. Snow yesterday, and snow this morning/noonish. You're probably enjoying that right now, if it hasn't already passed. Be careful buddy.

Yes, Boonville is located in Mid-Mo close to I 70.
You are absolutely correct in that it is lightly snowing now and with 0 degrees overnight it will probably be BRUTAL in the morning.

You think it will be warm enough before January? I think you will be lucky enough if it is warm enough before April! I live right across the River from Hannibal,Mo,and this is the coldest December I can remember in all the 43 years I have been on this earth!! Can't wait for what January/February will bring!!

I changed a thermostat in my front yard in 15 degree cold with 30mph wind. I actually ran my heat gun over my hands every few minutes so I could use my bare, wet fingers.
I love the change in seasons in New England but working on your truck in extreme cold sucks!

In all honesty though, I'd rather it be cold here than hot... when its cold you can add layers. When it's hot... you are so screwed haha.
Wait til it gets down around 50 or so, knocks the skeeters down and I can actually park out in the woods and not get ate up at night.
