It's SOOOO Cold!

Just wanted to let you all know that it's 26 degrees here in Afghanastan today! lol, Yesterday it was 16!!! This place sucks.

Ya its kinda cold out now in the dark and sometimes in the morning. I will be glad when it warms a bit, i do like the sunnyness we are getting though it is nice

Well, It's 20 degree's tonight..... Only 5 more months and im comin' home!

But yea when we had the 20 inches of snow fall at my house like 2 weeks ago, my kids loved it lol.

Damn that cold huh? It was 50 this morning :P worked without a jacket aaaaaalllllllll day. When we had the ice storm it was about an inch thick on top of the snow so in order to get into a car ay my work i had to smack the ice with my hand to break it then pull chunks off till i was able to get in.

Ya it was pretty bad... After working in it for about 5-10 minutes i said F it and gave up on trying to go easy on it and just started smashing the crap out of it till my hand hurt too much or it broke off. I think it was worse when it was on the windshield cause there wasn't snow under it to allow it to break easily.

I watched a video of some troops i Iraq that were walking down the road and they were talking about how hot it was and that their boots were melting on the road while they walked... It was crazy

LOL, yea that **** is true! i did a year in Iraq.... Here in Afghan the high is about 140 in the summer, and i've seen the low around -10.... Not fun lol. In the end, i'de say Iraq is worse though.
