Ahhhh yes...winter approaches. I am ready for each season as it gets here. Hoping for a good heavy winter this year and snow on the ground opening day of hunting season.
Was about 30 this morning, frost on the ground. Had the day off, so I took the carb off the Fairmont, fine tuned the choke and fast idle, tightened up all the screws, and now it's ready for winter.
Can't wait to see how the Eagle 4WD does in the snow. This will be the first winter I've had it. The Aero has a posi rear end, so it's always been good with a couple of sand bags in the back.
But, I'm not really looking forward to winter again.
30deg this mornin. Icy windshield, Heater full blast(GLAD FER THE V8!!), holofill jacket, nice'n toasty. Dont like winter, dont like havin to load the bed up with cinderblocks, nor do I like my fingers freezin to the steerin wheel!!!! Naaaa, winter is fun cause I get ta blaze a path up the driveway with 2ft of snow, heehehheheheheheeh.
As usual I am doing things backwards.. I am going north again this winter... I must be stupid. I spend the summer in southern Arizona, and the winters in cold places.... geez.
We had some rain today so the temps dipped into the mid 70's. I started unpaking my winter clothes and got the snow chains ready
Don't know how you guys do it in the north!
