After my primary radiator replacement was completed, it looks like the mechanic might have gotten a little lazy, but several plastic rivet's, clamps are broken. Yea I should go back to the dealer and have them make it right, but honestly, my time is worth more than that. I was looking for these parts at an online Ford parts dealer, but cannot find these in the parts diagram. Any help would be appreciated. The parts cannot be more than a few bucks.
Notice the missing rivets to the right holding the seal to the top of the radiator. Several of the others are loose/broken.
On this one, the clamp that holds the hose to the radiator is broken.
As a side note, the primary cooling reservoir was pretty low too, I'm assuming the mechanic didn't run the truck long enough to purge all the air from the system, as I don't notice any leaks. I already had some specialty orange and distilled at home, so I refilled to the max cold line and will watch it.
While I understand why you want to finish fixing it yourself, I would see if the dealer would provide the parts or at least the part numbers. If he doesn't know you are dissatisfied, he won't ever improve the level of service. Just a thought.

Ron. Oh so true. show service manager. Then let him handle the lazy tech that has no pride in his work.
Parts number for the seal rivets is W706350 S3000
For the coolant hose i can't find a number, might be part of hose assy.
Thanks, but i just did a google search on that part number, and those are not what is on the truck. The ones on my truck just push in with some splines to hold it in. Not a two piece deal like these.
He was lazy. a lot of times they cut the underside to get them off but not so close. They are rather long. If you cut them but leave some on it then they will still work.
I'd get them to give you a handful and then go put them on or have them do it on the spot..better yet!.
Yea, thats what I am thinking. I've been watching the coolant level in the degas bottle too. Was close to empty when I popped the hood on Saturday morning. Added about a 1 1/2 quarts of 50/50 specialty orange and distilled right to the top of the cold full line. Checked again Sunday morning, down a little, added to the top of the cold full line. Checked again this morning, down a little again. In total about a 1/2 gallon added.
I'm wondering how long it takes to purge the air out of the system? No leaks showing on the ground, and each time I am adding less.
