P0113 code after Blue spring replacement

I just bought a 2005 E350 van. Doing some PM before really putting in use.
I have bought a Scan Gauge 2, learning it's set up.
Pulled it apart and replaced the regulator spring and fuel filter on top of motor.
I cycled the ignition sw. 3x before reassembly to check for leaks.
Now I have the P0113 Intake Air Temp fault.
I have checked the connector on the intake tube after the air cleaner, it is secure.
Set the X gauge for IA1 get a reading of 460 plus, what ever that means.

What do I look at to solve this challenge

Thanks
Chuck

are your wires fine to the plug. I took my air breather out the other day and it broke one of the wires somehow.

I had the exact same problem last week when I done my Blue spring upgrade. I checked all connections done a scan and reset, the engine light went out and has never came back on. Another poster said I probably turned the key on when the wires were unplugged or something and that thru the code. That was my experience anyway.

I reread your post and it doesn't say you have run a scan yet so Get out your scan gauge book and follow instructions on how to do that . It should bring up a screen that asks you if you want to clear the code you mention and that is were you will clear the code.

Also had the FIMC out for a tune up and a Atlas 40 tune.
With connector off of air cleaner tube the reading IA1 did not come down.
SO could this be a wiring problem?

Make sure that you have continuity with the wires that go to the plug, and the end of the plug. I had this same thing on my excursion, ended up being a broken wire right at the connector. Ended up buying a new pig tail.

It's not that uncommon to break a wire there. I bet that's his problem.....

You should try unplugging and then re-connecting the IAT/MAP connection on the air intake. Mine is finicky sometimes at snapping in properly.

I was able to get the code cleared!!
I had been clearing the code with the van running and it would come back.
So I tried clearing it with the ignition on put not running. The SG2 has a regular clear and a hard clear (still do not know the difference).
I did both and restarted the motor........error code gone!!!!!
Oh well better lucky than good at this point as we are leaving on a road trip to visit the grand kids. I will update after a few driving cycles.
Thanks for the inputs form everybody
