It would have been better if the customer opted to remove all that emissions mess but i guess some states require it?
Good job though! Cant wait to see the wiring! These are the type of skills that should be on tv.
Looking through the photos in post #109, it appears you needed to shorten and fabricate the rear section of exhaust, DEF line as well, in conjunction with the driveshaft and frame harness.
Got the shocks installed, broke out to bottom of the tank for the sending unit out of the 12. Need to lengthen the sending unit hoses and rods. So the gauge reads right. Also started lengthening the fuel lines.

No need for fab work on exhaust. Just take our the pipe between the DPF and exhaust pipe. Ford made it bolt in for all there wheels bases.

I understand that a client is paying you for this incredible machine. How do you warrant it?
We will stand behind our workmanship, any problems customers are told to bring it back and we will take care of it. Power train is up to there servicing dealer whether they would warranty it.

I understand that, and would have no doubt as to the care... But... I guess the question is you're using building a hybrid of a couple of different trucks... One of which was still under warranty before you took it apart... Tons of computerized parts, etc. What if one of those parts went bad... It was still under warranty originally, but now because of its status in your hybrid... Are you covered? Or are you a warranty provider?
My guess if its power train or computer related issues it will be up to the owner because they knew the warranty would be void customizing to this extent.

That would be correct. It is the owners responsibility. They are aware of the conditions and what they are doing with the truck. Hence the word custom. We don't mess with any of the power train or electrical. You can get this configuration in a regular cab with an 8' box. There are know modifications done to any of the power train or exhaust all stock items. Any add electrics are all power source from there own fuse box that we install. Very few thinks are spliced into the wiring harness.( interior lights, and rear wiper). Not to sound like an a** but if you can afford the truck and the cost of the conversion you can pretty much afford to fix what ever goes wrong. Most people chip and delete these truck during these builds which voids all warranty and this truck might yet go that route. Customer is still deciding on what chip to go with.
