Combustion in fuel

Hey guys,,, I'm messing with a 2008 6.4,, I have 230 psi lower compression in #8 than #6. I'm wanting to check if the injector is sealing the combustion chamber. Can you guys point me in the right direction. Should the schrader valve on the fuel cooler show pulses of exhaust if its the injector. Where do I test for combustion in the fuel?? Thanks guys

Misfire on #1 cylinder,, not recurring,,, yet????
Cont/bal cyl #8 ,,,,, this is recurring
Misfire on #8,,,, not recurring
Runs fine most of the time,,, then it starts stumbling until the ignition is shut off n restarted.
Does that white sludge on the filter cap look like biofuel residue ?????

Maybe it's a water/diesel sludge thats developed since there is no water blocking membrane?
