Holley Carb question

Does anyone know the technical nomenclature for the item circled in the pic? It's leaking fuel.

Are you sure its not leaking from the bowl gasket right there? That's where mine was leaking from.

That is a plug where they drilled the passage that flows fuel from the accel pump to the squirters. It should be tight and not leak.

I have had a carb leak at plugs many years ago .... cleaned real good, spotlessly with 2+2, applied epoxy, cure, no more leak. Can't hurt.

Unusual for those plugs in Hollys to leak .... most likely a gasket leak. That's where a passage is drilled to redirect the accelerator pump shot upwards to the shooters.

It's called a metering block pump passage plug.

I think it would be easier to replace the metering block, or just epoxy over the plug.
