Hearer core

I'm tired of driving with no heat I've look an read its easy to do but how do you get the glove box door off to get the glove box out for access to the rest an core. Am I dumb or blind its a 88 xlt Help!!! Thanks John

Not sure if yours is the same but on my 94, open glove box squeeze the side toward the top to get the tabs past the dash and it pulls out.

These are the easiest heater cores to change.

and while you have the core out, clean out the heater box and make sure all the blend doors work before putting it back together.

Heater Core Replacement

You all were right it was so easy. I kick my self for not doing it earlier,only thing I by passed the core 2 months ago now not sure on the hose placement. Right now I have the hose that goes from the plastic tee to the core's left nipple an other to the right side am I right? 88 five 0 Thanks John

if you have heat it don't really matter. easy way to clean the inside of the heater core is to hook up the hoses backwards
