A question about these magical little boxes. And I think this may be related to some of the issues people have with AE improperly reporting / not performing various tests on our trucks.
Awhile ago when trying to figure out why my AE will not report PERDELs, the tech at AE stated that some earlier PCM calibrations did not support this test, i.e., the list of PIDs available to you from AE are sourced from the PCM, not any list within the AE software.
Is there a way to determine the calibration code on your PCM? And is there any benefit / harm to running a different calibration? I suppose the calibration is probably written on the label on the PCM itself, but it's cold outside and I'd rather not go digging under things and or removing them today.
